Yesterday I posted a blog post saying that Baidu will open sitemap to high-quality members of the Baidu Alliancehttps://www.zolfox.com/life/1220.html。This is the original text. belowBeijing seoLet's talk about how to apply for a sitemap activation code
A brief introduction to sitemap
Sitemap (iesite map) is a list of pages on your website. Creating and submitting a Sitemap helps Baidu discover and understand all pages on your website, including pages that Baidu may not be able to find through traditional crawling methods. You can also use Sitemap to provide other information about your website, such as the last update date, update frequency of Sitemap files, etc., for Baidu spider's reference.
Baidu does not guarantee that it will crawl and index all URLs for submitted data. However, we will use data from Sitemap to understand the structure of the website and other information, which can help us improve our crawling strategies and better crawl the website in the future.
In addition, Sitemap has nothing to do with search rankings.
How to obtain sitemap
If a website wants to use the Baidu Sitemap tool to proactively recommend high-quality content on its website to the webmaster platform, the Baidu webmaster platform will conduct a review based on the standards of high-quality resources. Webmasters can currently focus on the following three aspects:
1. The website content has unique original content, or the website has good user reputation and is authoritative in related fields.
2. The website provides a good user browsing and using experience. Including the speed at which the web page is opened, the text on the web page is clear, the content is complete, there is no excessive advertising, no malicious plug-ins, etc.
3. There are certain problems with the current inclusion effect of Baidu web searches. For example, the website has a large number of high-quality resources that have not been indexed by Baidu.
Before applying to Baidu Webmaster Platform to use the Sitemap tool, websites can first judge whether their website meets the above requirements. If you meet the requirements, send an email to zhanzhang@baidu.com to obtain the activation code. Please fill in the activation code for the application webmaster platform in the subject of the email, and the body needs to include your website information and contact information. Thank you!SEO training
