When you run GSA SER for the first time, the first window that will appear is the project window. This is the program's primary graphical user interface (GUI) that displays the real-time progress of automated work.
This window is divided into four main sections: project section, toolbar section, newly verified URL section, and status message section
Project sectioncontains a list of all existing projects in the system.
The Project section contains a table that displays each project name, status (active, inactive), priority (high, normal, low, minimum), number of submissions, and number of verified links.
By right-clicking an item in the list, you can perform project-specific actions, such as:
Change status, change priority status, display and export all submitted URLs, display and export all verified URLs, import URLs you generate in the project, modify project information, display statistics, edit project options
Toolbar section The toolbar contains buttons for creating, editing and deleting items. Here, you can also start and stop execution and get help from the program. You can also use global options by clicking the Options button.
Latest verification website section Not all links to submissions created by GSA SER are verified and are in the Google Index. Depending on whether you use an indexing service, this may take days or weeks. There is no way that Google would not index the page at all. However, GSA SER will do the extra work for you to determine the success of your campaign by iterating all submitted links and reporting whether the links have been indexed.
The GSA will report the date and time of URL inspections and the complete URL and Google Page rankings. If you hover the mouse cursor over the URL item, you will see additional information such as the content engine, anchor text used in the link, no follow/execution tracking status, page ranking, index status, country of origin, and number of inbound and outbound links on the page.
Link color:
| Yellow | No follow link |
| Green | Do follow link |
| Gray | Redirect link to your website |
| Red | A Whois/Statistic site only |
Status Message Log Section To let you know the progress of the automated run, GSA SER will record all project activities and display them in the log pane. By right-clicking an item, you will be able to clear the contents of the section, copy all items to the clipboard, open a browser to view URLs, turn logging on/off and save to files.
In addition, there is a statistics column at the bottom of the pane.
T Number of threads currently running
S Number of links submitted that day
V Number of links verified that day
